Waldegrave students deliver Outstanding GCSE results
Waldegrave is delighted to announce exceptional GCSE results. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment that enables students to reach their full potential. The school's success in achieving such impressive GCSE results is a testament to the quality of education and care it offers its students.
Ms Tongue, Headteacher, said “Our students have worked incredibly hard to achieve these tremendous results. In addition to our students' hard work, these results reflect the dedication and commitment of Waldegrave staff and the families that supported them.”
91% of students achieved at least 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at grade 4 and above.
74% of students achieved at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 5 and above.
46% of all grades achieved by students were grade 7 or above.
98 students achieved at least 5 GCSEs at grades 7 to 9.
Mrs Dhir, Head of KS4 commented “It has been lovely to see our students and celebrate with them this morning. We would like to wish all our Year 11 students success in the next stage of their education and we are proud that we have supported them to achieve their goals and aspirations.”
Ms Tongue added, “We know that many of our students will return to us for A-level studies and are excited to welcome them into the Sixth Form. Regardless of next steps, all of those receiving results today will always be part of the Waldegrave community and we look forward to hearing about their future successes.”
