Yr10 History students are visiting the this week, learning how surgery evolved in the 18-1900s. Patients who undertook surgery here were poor. Waldegrave students celebrate outstanding A-level results

Congratulations to Waldegrave A-level students who have again obtained excellent results across all subjects. Of all grades awarded, 9% of these were A*, 38% A*/A and 66% A*-B. 17% of students achieved three A grades or above. 

Commenting on the results Ms Tongue, Headteacher, said  “I am immensely proud of all of our students.”

“The results that the students have achieved today are a result of incredible effort and determination,” Ms Tongue continued. “In addition to congratulating our students, I would like to thank the school staff for their expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to the students. We are grateful that our parents and carers have also been unstinting in their support and ambition for the students. Students were very well prepared and are now ready for their next steps, whether that be in Higher Education or employment.” 

Waldegrave’s sixth form was established 10 years ago and has consistently achieved excellent results; a testament to the strong relationships between students and teachers.
