The Waldegrave School Governing Body comprises members of the local school community who work in partnership with the Headteacher to shape the school’s strategic direction and oversee the allocation of its budget. The governors are responsible for key decisions on matters such as performance targets, school policies, and the School Improvement Plan.
Drawing on a wide range of skills and experience, the Governing Body provides both support and challenge to the Headteacher. They also respond to government initiatives and inspection outcomes, handle appeals, and address complaints, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement across the school.
