We had a simply bun-derful bake sale in support of Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 3 October. Pupils volunteered to bake at home and brought cakes, donuts, cake-pops, muffins, biscuits and much, much more to sell at our Macmillan Coffee Morning. Pupils and staff enjoyed their fill while contributing to this fantastic cause. We raised an incredible £2465.04, which is three times as high as last year! Every penny of these donations will go to help Macmillan be there for the 3 million people in the UK living with cancer.
Mr Reynolds who organised this event with support from the House Captains said:
“The MacMillan Coffee Morning was a fantastic success. Thank you to all the fantastic bakers and incredibly generous contributions. The event would also not have been possible without our crack team of Year 11 House Captains and volunteers, who did themselves and the school proud.”
