Waldegrave is launching its first ever I am delighted House Pumpkin Carving Competition, taking place on Thursday 22 October.
This exciting event offers students a fantastic opportunity to showcase their creativity while earning points for their house. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative, original, and spookiest designs!
This is a House competition and every single entry submitted will earn valuable House Points to boost Franklin, Eliott, Seacole or Pankhurst up the leaderboard.
All students can take part by getting creative and carving their design at home before bringing in their imaginative designs to display in the Green Room where they will be judged.
We can’t wait to see the incredible designs our students create!
Top Tips
- Remember bigger does not always equal better and sometimes the simplest designs are the most effective.
- Please ensure pumpkin carving activities are supervised at home to avoid any accidents.
- All entries must be clearly labelled with the student’s full name and form.
- Students will be able to collect their pumpkins at the end of the school day.
Financial Support
We want every student who wishes to take part to feel fully included. If your child would like to participate but you require financial support, please send an email to finance@waldegravesch.org in confidence.
